FOR UKRAINE. Our friends in Ukraine feel the US has abandoned them, and I wanted to reach out to DO SOMETHING:

Pysanka brooch with wheat motif. The legend of pysanky (intricately dyed Ukrainian Easter eggs) says that as long as somewhere in the world someone makes a pysanky, there will be peace. I used wheat for this one, thinking of the hopeful act of planting a garden; the farmers who provide food for a country at war must hold hope in their hearts every moment. Each pysanka I have made has been a fundraiser for Ukraine and this one is no different. This time I will be donating the proceeds to SVOI Foundation, their main focus now is to provide medical care for victims of Russian aggression.

The back of the pysanka is stamped "Slava Ukraini" which translates to "Glory to Ukraine" The listing is here.

Three bullet casings were sent to me from Ukraine. They metamorphosed into butterflies; two necklaces found homes and the proceeds are being sent to SVOI Foundation, to help Ukrainian people rebuild their lives in the midst of Russia’s aggressions. SVOI helps victims medically, as well as with basic necessities. If you’d like to help, and wear a symbol of positive change for Ukraine, I have two more options available here. Thank you to Tanya in Kyiv, for trusting me to help, sending me the casings so that we could make magic happen. Glory to Ukraine. Heroes never die. Герої не вмирають

This is the last of the three available. The listing is here.

Celebrating spring, and looking forward to summer. A bumbleberry pie necklace (a knife and fork make the toggles of the clasp for the beaded necklace.) A wild strawberry pin, salmonberry flower and leaf with berry earrings, and blueberry earrings. Glass berries by Elizabeth Johnson, CO.

"There is a crack, a crack in everything; that's how the light gets in." Leonard Cohen, lyrics for the song "Anthem" inspired this collection of pendants and earrings. Look for a cuff, coming soon.
