Pebbles Necklace
Share
It's been a while since I made a necklace made up of many pieces linked together, so I thought I'd start the year off with an elaborate project. Here is my journey, from shaping the wire frame, soldering the rims, cutting out the back plates, soldering the rims to the backplate to make each frame, then drilling each frame in multiple spots so that I could securely add links.
I spared you the ten minutes of soldering links on one "pebble" but here's what I was doing:
Each link is soldered to its neighbor:
Polishing in between steps, taking care to make sure each solder joint is solid, then after the links were soldered together I gave it a final polish and began the micro-mosaic inlay.
